a south end community celebration

T’Challaween is South Seattle’s annual free, community-powered, family-friendly Halloween trick-or-treat parade happening October 25th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Beacon Hill. The mile-long trick-or-treat parade route stretches from 18th & South College Street to Jefferson Park, transforming Beacon Hill into a corridor of costumes, candy, and community joy.

At Jefferson Park, the celebration continues with entertainment, local businesses, games, and activities happening from 1pm to 5pm.

You don’t need to be present to win and every $10 donation made before the deadline counts as one entry ($10 donation = 1 entry). We will draw winners live using a randomizer tool, so your generosity could literally pay off!

Prizes include:

  • Bike Works Prize Pack: A children’s bike, helmet, and lock ($250 value) plus a $120 Bike Works tune-up certificate.

volunteer at T'challaween

T’Challaween runs on community power, and we need your help to keep the magic alive! From handing out candy along the parade route to helping families at Jefferson Park, volunteers make this free event possible. Join our team of neighbors, parents, and superheroes to create a safe, joyful Halloween for South End kids. Sign up today and be part of the tradition.

COMMUNITY-POWERED

T’Challaween is a testament to what is possible when neighbors, volunteers, businesses, and nonprofits come together. Volunteers hand out nearly 250lbs of candy; community partners host stations and performances; and local sponsors provide the resources that make it all possible.

This event is only made possible through the generosity of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and grantors. By supporting T’Challaween, you are helping sustain a beloved South End tradition and demonstrating your commitment to building strong, equitable communities.
